Auto Cool 85
The Auto Cool 85 is a solid state pulse width modulated radiator fan temperature controller. With this technology, the fan RPM will control the temperature of your radiator. It is rated at 85 amps and fused at 100 amps for a margin of safety.
The Auto Cool 85 will power one or more fans to 85 amps. Tie FAN A and FAN B brass terminals together to balance the current. Tie the center brass termial to ground with a heavy short wire. The 85 will power more than one fan. The 85 and all PWM Auto Cool controllers have Soft Start to limit inrush current.
Auto Cool 85 will stay active for about one minute after you turn off the ignition to cool down your radiator. The Fail Safe mode puts the fan or fans into high RPM when you turn on a small switch on the dash board. The Auto Cool 85 has A/C fan speed control with a small pot on the back side of the controller.
Preset the radiator temperature with the knob on the front of the Auto Cool 85 controller.
All controllers are sold with the standard brass sensor. If you have a plastic radiator OUTFLOW port, see our Inline copper sensors. All Auto Cool Controllers are sold with a ONE year warranty.
